O how marvelous are the works of the Lord, and how long doth he suffer with his people; yea, and how blind and impenetrable are the understandings of the children of men; for they will not seek Wisdom [Jesus], neither do they desire that she should rule over them!

Yea, they are as a wild flock which fleeth from the shepherd, and scattereth, and are driven, and are devoured by the beasts of the forest.

Mosiah 8:20-21

Jesus is source of all wisdom and every good gift. Jesus is like a loving and wise mother who teaches her children, cares for them, suffers with them, protects them, and does everything for their good. Jesus is like a wise grandmother who shares great wisdom with her grandchildren and the community. The wisdom of Jesus is based in divine love. We are born of Christ who is meek and lowly of heart. Jesus is like a “Second Eve” and mother of humanity. All will be resurrected and physically recreated through the resurrecting power of Jesus. Jesus is like a shepherd who protects the sheep from the wolves. Let us seek wisdom by seeking Jesus. The false wisdom of the wolves is prideful, glutenous, hateful, treacherous, and seeks to pull us down rather than lift us up. The wisdom of Jesus is greater than the cunning evils that want to devour our divine loving light. Let us hold onto Jesus as an infant holds onto their mother. Let us humbly seek the safety of Jesus who is the keeper of heaven’s wisdom.
