To the Reader
Thank you for your time, your curiosity, and your interest in Jesus. Thank you for exploring the Book of Mormon which testifies of him. Time is precious. It is an honor for me that you have chosen to spend a few moments reading what I have to share.
My own limited understanding, shortcomings, flaws, and biases are undoubtedly contained in this work. I’m not a trained scriptural scholar and even if I were, there are sure to still be some errors. On the path of discovery there is often hypothesis and speculation. There are bound to be some imperfect assumptions that result in false starts. A journey of exploration often starts headed in a general direction and then the trail is refined and built up later. Rarely is a jigsaw puzzle put together without exploring whether a puzzle piece fits where it doesn’t belong. The path of spiritual growth and enlightenment is often with a little here and a little there. My own journey is not complete and my own discovery of truth is ongoing. Please forgive my errors in advance. When Jesus returns, I believe he will unite all people of humble faith. He will correct our understanding of his gospel and his eternal truths. Until then, let the Holy Spirit be your guide in showing you where each puzzle piece fits. When a puzzle piece clicks into place, there is a certain satisfaction that comes from harmonizing truths that just feels right. If it doesn’t fit, keep exploring, turn it over, rotate it, or try a different piece. Take that which is edifying and uplifting to you and please feel free to leave the rest.
