For this, the waters of Noah unto me, for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee.

For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the Covenant of My Peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted! Behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colors, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

3 Nephi 22:9-11

Jesus is our Covenant of Peace whose kindness endures longer than mountains. His doctrine is like a wise man who built his house on a rock which endured through life’s rains, floods, storms, and tempests. The sign of his covenant and his mercy is the rainbow full of fair colors. Jesus is the rainbow that connects heaven and earth. He is our heavenly light that descended from above and causes us to pause and look up. Jesus who is the spiritual light of the world radiates all colors. He has prepared for us many heavenly mansions of radiant colorful light. His mercy is open to everyone. Heaven’s gates are never closed to those who are bound to Him in his Covenant of Peace. Their names are recorded in the Book of Life (or recorded in Jesus).
