2 Nephi 8:15

When Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, Jesus parted the waters with a strong east wind. He made the sea dry land so that the waters were divided. This provided a path for the children of Israel to escape Pharoah’s armies. As the Egyptians pursued, the waters came back and flooded the Egyptian armies who drowned. Jesus is the God of Israel’s escape. He is the God whose waves roared. (also see Exodus 14:19-30)
